SAFP (Swiss Association of Football Players) is the exclusive and representative collective voice of professional footballers in Switzerland and represents the interests of professional footballers.  SAFP is the official professional players’ association of Switzerland recognised by the Swiss Football League. Currently, more than 570 Super League and Challenge League players are members of SAFP. SAFP represents the interests of professional football players at national and international level.
In addition to representing and advising the interests of individual members, SAFP also aims to give professional footballers a voice in all sports bodies, especially in Swiss football. SAFP’s members benefit from the worldwide network of national players’ representatives.
SAFP was founded on 9 November 2001 and has been a full member of the Fédération Internationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (FIFPro) since December 2002.
