SAIP (Swiss Association Of Ice Hockey Players) is the representative collective voice of professional hockey players in Switzerland and represents the interests of professional hockey players.
SAIP represents the interests of professional ice hockey players at national and international level.
In addition to representing and advising the interests of individual members, SAIP aims to give professional ice hockey players a voice in all sports bodies, especially in Swiss hockey. The members of SAIP benefit from the worldwide network of national players’ representations.

SAIP was founded on 20 September 2004 and is a founding member of the World Association of Ice Hockey Players WAIPU, which has been in existence since December 2007 (www.waipu.org).
